1) By default, when signing up, you re-request all your requests in all sign-ups. That said, you are very welcome to pick and choose which specific requests/exchanges you would be open to receiving late treats in. This would need to be specified in the "Notes" section of your sign-up. For example, you could say "I am only interested in the X and Y requests of event Z." Without a note like this, the assumption will be you are open to receiving gifts for any previous request.

2) So the way that the AO3 Automagic App works is that it scrapes the requests of exchanges (or the prompts of prompt memes) that are hosted on AO3 as a collection. Users manually ask the scraper to do this by putting in the slug of the AO3 collection for that exchange (e.g. "GenFreeformExchange2023") and asking it to scrape, usually while sign-ups are going on and then one last time after sign-ups close. The requests from that exchange are then stored externally in a way that is searchable and filterable. So if you have participated in a multifandom AO3-hosted exchange that is modded through Dreamwidth, it is likely that the requests for that exchange have been scraped by that app and are viewable/searchable there (but not necessarily). You can check by going to the "Search Everything" page of that app and selecting the last option from the dropdown ("Username (Exact)") and putting in your username. This should bring up all your past sign-ups in AO3 collections that someone has asked be scraped, if any exist.

3) Basically, that bit refers to any gift-giving event that has occurred in the past but which is NOT run through an AO3 collection, and so wouldn't show up on that AO3 Automagic App. This could refer (for example) to single-fandom exchanges where people sign up through a Google form, exchanges run on different sites like Squidgeworld, or events like the ones listed ([community profile] fandomgiftbasket or [community profile] fandomtrees) where people get a post in the Dreamwidth community where their requests are listed. As long as your old requests are visible somewhere and can be linked, you are free to include it in the "Notes" section of your sign-up. If you have not participated in any event like that (or can't remember), you can just ignore that bit.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions. :)
